Terapido Terms of Service

1. General Terms

1.1 Agreement to Terms:

  • These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of Terapido’s platform for accessing online therapy services. By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1.2 Updates to Terms:

  • Terapido reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Minor changes may be made without direct communication.
  • Significant changes will be communicated to you via email or notifications on our platform.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1 Client Cancellations:

  • Appointments can be refunded or rescheduled free of charge if done at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will not be refunded.
  • If a client fails to show up without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.

2.2 Therapist Cancellations:

  • If a therapist cancels or reschedules a session, clients will be notified immediately and offered the choice of a refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.

3. Lateness

3.1 Client Lateness:

  • If a client is late to a session, the therapist will wait for up to 15 minutes. After this time, the session will be considered a “no-show,” and the full session fee will be charged.
  • Sessions that start late due to client delay will not be extended.

3.2 Therapist Lateness:

  • If a therapist is more than 5 minutes late, the session will still last the full scheduled time or be rescheduled based on the client’s preference.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:

  • The therapist cancels the session and rescheduling is not desired by the client.
  • Cancelation is done by the client at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Technical issues prevent the session from taking place, and the issue is determined to be on Terapido’s platform or on the Therapists side.

5. Technical Issues

5.1 Client Responsibility:

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a functioning device for the session.

5.2 Client Technical Issues:

  • If technical issues occur on the client’s side, the session will not be refunded.

5.3 Therapist Technical Issues:

  • If technical issues arise on the therapist’s side, the session will be rescheduled at no extra cost to the client.

6. Gmail Account Requirement

6.1 Email Requirement:

  • Customers are required to use a Gmail account to sign up and book sessions on Terapido, such that they can access the Google meet link where the session will take place.
  • For enhancing security only the Gmail account associated with the booking is granted access to the session by the therapist.

Terapido is not designed to address acute psychological or medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a severe crisis and require immediate assistance, please reach out to local emergency services or utilize one of these alternative resources.
